Welcome to our latest fortnightly update. Packed with key updates and improvements across our platforms, this edition ensures you’re up to speed with the latest developments. Let’s dive in!
NHS and Healthtech News
This week, the NHS saw significant digital advancements. Six hospitals in Northern England fully deployed the NPIC digital pathology system, enhancing cancer diagnostics and multidisciplinary team efficiency.
NHS England also issued a notice for an £18 million Electronic Patient Record system aimed at improving health and justice services. Meanwhile, experts stress the need for a government-backed AI strategy to maximise technology’s potential within the NHS, emphasising the importance of non-clinical tech for operational efficiency and better patient care.
New Release to the TriVice App
We’ve streamlined our communication and scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and user experience. Now, SMS notifications are sent to parents with leaflet links, and plastic reviewers receive alerts when urgent cases are submitted. Clinicians are promptly informed of any new queries via SMS and email.
Additionally, initial consultations will now be scheduled by admins before payment, simplifying the process for patients. The confirmation email will include a payment link, making it easier for patients to complete their booking. The referral form has also been updated, with the “GP Referral” field renamed to “Source of Referral,” and a new “Self-referral” option added.
Population Health Analytics App
Recent updates to our platform include several enhancements to improve usability and data insights. The user management page now shows the “Last Login” information for better activity tracking.
The last updated month in the outcomes section is highlighted for easy reference. We’ve added new charts for case findings and enabled an Outcome End-of-Year Predictor chart. The “Practice Indicator” target is now set to 0%, and the terminology has been refined for clarity.
Additionally, the platform now features Google Analytics integration to better understand user behaviour, with more updates on the way, including improved display features and renamed menu items.
v-Consult App
Recent updates have removed the dependency on the v-Consult Role-Desktop Admin for CINE D login, making access simpler for users. We’ve also introduced a feature that allows the visibility of practices to be enabled or disabled for both admins and patients, offering greater control. If all practices are disabled, admins will receive an error message, ensuring at least one remains active.
Additionally, the platform has transitioned to a new SMS provider, improving communication reliability. File downloads are now automatically renamed for easier organisation. Lastly, Google Analytics has been enabled to gain better insights into user behaviour and platform usage.
Future Release
Population Health Analytics App: The development of the Disease Area page for Population Health Analytics is currently underway.
v-Consult App: A new feature for the V-Consult app is in development, which will provide immediate browser notifications when a new consultation request is received. This will help users stay updated and respond quickly.
